CMI Level 5 Award Management and Leadership
This CMI Level 5 Award in Management and Leadership is aimed at practising or aspiring managers and leaders who are typically accountable to senior management or a business owner. The main role of a practising or aspiring manager and leader is to lead and manage individuals and teams necessary to deliver goals and objectives set by the organisation strategy.
The Chartered Management Institute (CMI) is a professional institution for management that was founded in 1947 and was responsible for the UK’s first diploma in management studies. The CMI is also the only chartered professional body that can award Chartered Manager status.
Learners must select and complete 1 unit to a minimum of 40 Total Unit Time (TUT) hours and 4 credits to achieve this qualification.
This Level 5 qualification can be offered to learners from the age of 18. The CMI does not specift entry requirements for this qualification, although centres are required to ensure that learners admitted to the training have sufficient capability at the right skill level to undertake the training and assessment.
