CMI Level 5 Award Management and Leadership
This CMI Level 5 Award in Management and Leadership is aimed at practising or aspiring managers and leaders who are typically accountable to senior management or a business owner. The main role of a practising or aspiring manager and leader is to lead and manage individuals and teams necessary to deliver goals and objectives set by the organisation’s strategy.
The Chartered Management Institute (CMI) is a professional institution for management that was founded in 1947 and was responsible for the UK’s first diploma in management studies. The CMI is backed by the Royal Charter, which means it is the only chartered professional body that can award the prestigious Chartered Manager status.
The CMI does not specify entry requirements for this qualification, although centres are required to ensure that learners admitted to the training have sufficient capability at the right skill level to undertake the training and assessment.
