Its popularity hails from the fact that the method can be tailored to suit the needs of any project in businesses of all sizes and that each project is managed in stages to ensure that it remains on track. This certification package includes both the PRINCE2 Foundation course and the official PRINCE2 Foundation examination.

What does this qualification cover?

The PRINCE2 Foundation course will teach aspiring Project Managers to lead a project team using the 7 Themes, Principles and Processes used in PRINCE2, as well as the common language used when undertaking PRINCE2 projects. Foundation is the first of two levels of certification obtainable when studying PRINCE2.

Who can take this qualification?

There are no formal requirements to study the PRINCE2 Foundation course.

In order to achieve your PRINCE2 Foundation certification you will need to study the PRINCE2 Foundation course and pass the official PRINCE2 Foundation exam. This qualification is internationally recognised and is awarded by PeopleCert. Passing the PRINCE2 Foundation exam is a prerequisite for studying the PRINCE2 Practitioner course.

Qualification equivalent

This qualification is NQF Level 5, which equates to a Higher National Certificate.
